About Bon Air, VA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Bon Air is a beautiful Virginia community originally established as a resort.  The central portion of the town is designated a historical district and is full of Victorian homes that are over 100 years old and full of history, character and undoubtable charm.  The name “Bon Air” means “good air” and signifies that this area had cleaner air than that of Richmond at the time.  Wealthy Richmond residents visited the area for a break from the industrial atmosphere in the bigger city.  However, it is not a typical resort area as it is not located on a beach or in a ski area.  The weather here is moderate and changes with the seasons just as it does in much of Virginia.
If you enjoy a secluded, somewhat “country,” feel while remaining near to a more urban atmosphere then Bon Air would be the perfect place to live or visit.  A quick drive to Richmond will allow you to take part in the culture, food and attractions that the big city has to offer.  However, you will easily be able to retreat back to the “good air” of this quiet and peaceful area. The moderate weather makes this area a great place to visit at any time of year.

If you visit in the warmer months you should certainly check out some of this area’s outdoor attractions such as Midlothian Mines Park in nearby Midlothian.  This is an ideal area to bike, hike or picnic and will be beautiful in the spring or summer.  It is also a nice place to look at the Fall leaves.  If you visit in the colder, winter months you should certainly consider some of the Richmond area’s many indoor attractions.  A great place to check out with your kids is the  Children’s Museum of Richmond.
